Description: Great antique French doll bonnet! It is very detailed and it is the best one that I have!!
It is made of cream silk and antique lace and it is from the 1880's! It has a large silk bow on top of the bonnet and two sections of the looped ribbons on top of the bonnet. There is a bow in back of the bonnet and two layers of antique lace in back that form the "flounce". I see no melting of the silk on the bonnet. It is wired inside and completely lined with cotton fabric. It has long silk ribbon ties that do have some melting on them, as they get tied and that tests the silk. It is an actual antique bonnet, not a bonnet made of antique fabrics. It is wonderful! It would be for a doll with a 13" head circumference. It measures 4 1/2" in height, not including the flounce. 4" from ear to ear and 4" deep.
There are no stains on the bonnet, the pictures are showing 2 shades, but if you look at the back of the bonnet picture, you will see it is clean!
